I don’t leave the house. Slobbish day equals don’t leave the house. But like, yeah, it’s not like I wake up, and I like, “I gotta do my makeup today because I’m gonna spend the day in front of the computer answering e-mails.” Like, listen, I can look a real mess but the thing is that you’ll never see it because I have good manners and I don’t want to subject anyone to that.

I just think well, like, can you imagine? One thing I think of all the time is, like, ‘whoa, you are going to run into your ex-boyfriend’s new girlfriend looking like that and you never let that happen again’. You know what I mean? Like, you have — inevitably, like, even when I don’t feel like putting on make-up, I always make some kind of effort ‘cuz it’s just like you find you get more of what you want when you look good-nice and when you, like, can look people in the eye and be proud of how you look and you’re dressed in clean clothes and your hair is nice and your make-up is nice and you feel good and you get a lot more when you look that way and you don’t have to worry about running into ‘so-and-so’ that you don’t want to see.
